Double Grading Champion
16.2hh. 9" Bone. 1993
Voltucky is a stunning, champion graded, quality Dutch stallion with excellent confirmation and attitude to work. He has those very elastic, powerful, 'up hill' paces that are so highly prized in a dressage horse. Voltucky added to his 1998 SHB (GB) Champion Young Stallion grading success by becoming 1999 SHB (GB) Champion Non T.B. with an incredibly high overall grading mark of 9.25. He was also the 1999 SHB (GB) Champion 6 year old Dressage Stallion. His jumping ability is simply superb, and if he wasn't pursuing a dressage career, he would undoubtedly follow in the footsteps of his sire and excel jumping.
Voltucky made a very impressive start to his dressage career by winning 32 classes before taking a 3 year break from competing due to lack of rider. To get him back into competition, he was downgraded and rewarded us by winning both the Open Novice and Open Elementary Regional Championships. He then went on to head off some very strong opposition to win the Open Novice National Championships. He is already qualified for the 2004 Medium and Advanced Medium Regional Championships.
World Class Pedigree
Voltucky's pedigree reads like a who's who of the horse world! His two year older full brother Vechta is jumping World Cup qualifiers with William Funnell.

1999 SHB (GB) Non Thoroughbred Champion Stallion
The eldest of Voltucky's offspring are doing extremely well, but with the demise of the British Horse Database it is difficult to check up on their achievements. For certain, they are showing all the attributes of their sire with many of them gaining impressive wins in the dressage arena. A good number are also showing great promise jumping as well as winning in the show ring. The Williams family who compete internationally in Endurance have very successfully started competing their homebred Voltucky gelding bred out of a 13.2 Arab mare!
He sired numerous successful event horses including international eventers Maximillian maali, Leanardo viii and most notable Woolpit Amble - CCI 3* event horse.
Hartley Manor Venus by Maximillian Voltucky jumped her socks off and came 5th in the The Bunn Leisure Derby Tankard in the Hickstead Derby meeting CSI4*.
In 2014 Hartley Manor Venus finished 11th in the Hickstead derby CSI4*
Without a doubt Voltucky is stamping his offspring to an incredibly high degree with his beautiful head, correct limbs and very harmonious confirmation. Their movement is stunning - very flamboyant, supple and 'off the ground' with their outlook being bold, friendly, alert and extremely trainable. With his outstanding pedigree, movement, and jump, Voltucky is proving to be an excellent and popular dressage and jumping sire.
